Douglas Michaels has more than ten years of experience representing clients in real estate and business transactions and litigation.  His experience includes representing commercial and residential property owners, landlords, managers, shareholders, and tenants in myriad real estate matters, including litigation arising from commercial lease and sale disputes, residential and commercial landlord/tenant disputes, co-ownership disputes, and various real estate administrative proceedings. Douglas has also represented property owners and managers in connection with purchases and sales, commercial and residential leasing, and due diligence.

For ten years prior to joining Levin & Glasser, P.C., Douglas was an associate at a boutique New York City law firm that specialized in real estate litigation and transactions. Prior to that Douglas was an associate at a small firm that specialized in immigration and bankruptcy.

Douglas has been admitted to practice in the State of New York since 2010 and in the State of New Jersey since 2009. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from SUNY Binghamton University in 2005, and his law degree from University at Buffalo School of Law in 2009.
